Hey loves,

In the spirit of the holidays, I wanted to write this post to remind you all to appreciate the nice people in life. I  was born in a generation where most people don’t care about anything. They fabricate excuses not to make time for others. They have too much pride to acknowledge when they’re wrong and choose to walk away when they could easily have a conversation to work things out. We need to value the people who genuinely care because they don’t come around often.

The reality is that everyone has options and if they choose to make you a priority in their life, the least that you can do is showing them that they are appreciated. The people who pray for you, give you a call, send you a text, offer you their helping hands, or support you, shouldn’t be taken for granted. You don’t want to be that person who starts appreciating someone when they are no longer around because you might never get them back. We have to be smart and realize what matters in this life. We live in a society where someone is labeled weak, or annoying because they care too much. Those are the people that you need in your life, and you don’t want to push them away because one day you’ll realize they are hard to come by.  The world needs love, so always be kind even to the ones who hurt you because God is taking notes. In due time, he will bless your caring heart.

Make a difference, do a random act of kindness, and put a smile on someone’s face this holiday season.

Until next time,
