Something about him captured her heart. He had his flaws, but she was willing to love him genuinely for who he was. She wasn’t looking for perfect, she was looking for effort, for someone who can see her worth and willing to treat her the way she deserves to be treated. She’s been hurt before so her heart was guarded, but she gave him the benefit of the doubt and prayed for the best. It all started like the typical fairy tale love story but not too long after, she noticed a change.

She couldn’t understand what was going on but still wanted to be there for him simply because she cared. She decided to turn to what she knows best which is prayer. She wanted understanding and clarity. She didn’t want to give up on him because she felt something special. She was protective and even defended him when her friends no longer approved of him. She thought she saw something beautiful and deeper than his physical appearance but I guess love made her blind.

Her worse nightmare came true when the only thing she was afraid of actually happened, getting hurt by him. His actions revealed his true colors, and it was an ugly sight. She broke down in tears and prayed for strength. She was hurt but mainly disappointed because she believed him when he said that he wasn’t like the ones from her past. It was a difficult time, but God answered her prayers and gave her strength.

She then realized that he didn’t deserve her. She has a big heart, and her love for him was real, but he was so used to that mediocre love the others have to offer that he couldn’t appreciate something good. She wasn’t perfect but she was different, and a woman like her doesn’t come around often. He didn’t value that because he was too blind to notice that she was worth it. Although she’s hurt, she doesn’t regret loving him. She deserves better, and he just was not the one for her. She believes that everything happens for a reason and is looking forward to what God has in store for her…

“There is always someone who can’t see your worth, just don’t let it be you!”
