Hey loves,

trustI know it’s been awhile but that ABSN program struggle is real!! Anyway, I was reflecting on life and how God works, so I decided to share a few words with you all. We’ve all heard that saying, “God has a reason for allowing things to happen, we may never understand his wisdom, but we simply have to trust his will.” People often use those words to comfort us or give us hope, but the reality is that when we’re going through things, this statement can be difficult to comprehend. We often have questions as to why the God that loves us so much would allow us to go through so much pain. Based on experiences, I can honestly say that I believe that God does work in mysterious ways although I don’t usually realize it after awhile.

Have you ever heard of blessing in disguise? What seems to be our bitter trials, our setback, misfortune may often be blessings in disguise. You need to trust that God will never give you more than you can bear. We often go through things because he’s testing our faith and because he’s saving bigger and better things for us. Quick testimony, I remember getting accepted into a nursing program but some things came up, and I couldn’t continue with the program. At first, I was down and discouraged, but I didn’t let that stop me. I waited and applied to another school where I’m currently enrolled, after taking everything in consideration I realize that things worked out much better with my current school and where I am at in life.

Don’t be so hard on yourself when things don’t work out the way that you planned. Keep your head up and move forward. God is most likely saving something better for you, have faith in your journey and allow God to guide your steps.

Until next time,
